"I have been helping people reach fitness goals, lose weight, step on stage and just become better since 1996 when I declare my major in Exercise Physiology at Western Carolina University.  But even before college I was involved in cheerleading, softball, track, weight lifting, and dance.  Through those activities I became stronger physically...and I liked it!  I wanted more, so upon graduation and moving back to my hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina, I began Powerlifting.  I entered many meets over the 4 years setting records, putting on muscle mass and training like an animal.  In 2004 I wanted to use my dance background with my new found love of strength in the weight room.  I started following some of the great Fitness icons and wanted to learn how.  I changed my training around a bit, learned how to use and move my own body weight around, practiced the technique of the 5 mandatory moves in a fitness routine, started my first diet and entered a show in November of 2004.  I took the overall and went to Nationals 2 weeks later placing 10th out of 22 ladies.  I was hooked!  Now it is 2011 and I have been very close to a Pro-Card in Fitness for the past 4 shows.  This is a goal of mine that I am continually working hard towards.  I love performing the 2 minute routine and entertaining the crowd.  It is also amazing to see the body transform over my 16 weeks of contest prep.

I currently reside in New York City!  Yes, you heard right....Southern Belle goes North!  It has been a change of pace and environment, but what an adventure it is.  I work with clients in the city primarily at Equinox Gym.  I also help people all over the US and Internationally.  I have a lot to offer, so please take time to look around my programs and then contact me.  I'd love to hear from you!"
